Errata for Fox, Jeremy W. 2023. The existence and strength of higher order interactions is sensitive to environmental context. Ecology 104(10):e4156. https://doi.org/10.1002/ecy.4156

There are two typographical errors in Fox (2023). First, equation (2) should read

The derivation of equation (3) was based on the correct version of equation (2).

Second, in Table 1, the estimated value of the parameter αPP should be 0.010, not 0.001. The estimated parameter value was incorrectly transcribed from the output of the computer code used to analyze the data.

The text associated with equation (3) also requires clarification. The parameter θ in equation (3) is not equal to the parameter θ in equation (2), because of the reparameterization. The estimated value of θ reported in Table 1 is for the parameter θ in equation (3).

The author confirms that none of these corrections affect the conclusions of the paper.
